From the Diocese of Victoria website:
“Bishop Brendan Cahill has announced that the Diocese of Victoria will continue to suspend public Masses through Holy Week since there is no indication that the recommendation to limit gatherings to 10 people or less will change in the near future. The diocese will continue to heed the advice of health officials and our government leaders in order to protect everyone's health. Updates will be posted in a timely manner as the situation develops.”
Please continue to check this website or our Facebook page for further updates related to specific arrangements for our parish. We are waiting to receive further detailed guidance from the Bishop.
In the meantime, do not forget to spend time with God! He has certainly not forgotten about us during this time. There are many ways to attend Sunday Mass (and daily Mass!) virtually, by television, radio or the Internet. Please see our prior post for information.
Finally, do not forget about your financial donations to our parish. You may drop off your envelopes at the church office (there is a mail slot next to the front door that you may use if you wish), or mail them in. Additionally, the Diocese has set up on online giving page where individuals can make donations to their specific parish using a credit card, debit card, or electronic check. Donations may be one-time, weekly, or monthly. You can donate here:
